Voggle is a daily word puzzle. You can play it without an account, and it carries no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. This page explains the little data we do handle.
If you never sign in, your puzzle progress stays in your own browser's local storage and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data for voggle.com erases it permanently.
Signing in is optional and exists only to back up your progress and sync it across devices. We ask Google for the narrowest scope that identifies an account, “openid email”, so we receive your Google account identifier and your email address, and nothing else. We do not get your name, your profile photo, your contacts, or access to any other Google service.
Voggle sets two cookies, both strictly necessary and neither used for tracking or advertising.
A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to a year. A second, short-lived cookie, valid for fifteen minutes, protects the sign-in flow against cross-site request forgery and is discarded as soon as you finish signing in.
Your email address identifies your account which stores your progress so it survives a new device or a cleared browser. That is the whole of it.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you.
The game runs on Cloudflare Workers, and account data lives in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf as our hosting provider.
Signing out clears the session cookie from your browser. To have your account and its stored progress deleted from our database, get in touch and we will take care of it.
